Q: What is the minimum age requirement for hiring a campervan from Wee Coo Campers?

A: The minimum age requirement for drivers is 25 years old. However, there is an additional excess of £200 for drivers aged 23 to 25.

Q: How many passengers are allowed in the campervan?

A: We authorize the use of our campervans for up to 4 passengers, including the driver. All passengers must use the safety restraints provided at all times while the vehicle is in motion.

Q: Can I bring more than 4 passengers in the campervan?

A: No, the maximum capacity for our campervans, including the driver, is 4 passengers. Exceeding this limit is not permitted.

Q: Do children count towards the passenger limit?

A: Yes, all individuals, regardless of age, count towards the total passenger limit of 4.

Q: Are there any restrictions on who can drive the campervan?

A: Drivers must be between 25 and 75 years old. Additionally, a refundable security deposit applies to all hires. Non-UK licenses from certain countries are accepted, but there may be additional excess charges.

Q: Do all drivers need to provide identification?

A: Yes, both the main driver and any additional drivers must provide photo ID licenses prior to hire. If a photo license is not available, a paper license and passport are required.

Q: What is included in the campervan hire rates?

A: Hire rates include unlimited miles in the UK, standard vehicle insurance, standard equipment, and breakdown coverage. Additional charges may apply for international customers due to currency conversion fees.

Q: Are there any extra charges for international customers?

A: Yes, international customers are charged a 3% currency conversion fee by our payment provider, Stripe.

Q: When is payment due for campervan rental?

A: A 50% deposit of the total booking hire fee is required to confirm a reservation. The remaining balance is due 45 days prior to the rental start date.

Q: Is the security deposit refundable?

A: Yes, a refundable security deposit is held on your payment card to cover insurance excess and potential damages or fines. It is refunded within 7 days after the end of the hire period, minus any applicable costs.

Q: Can I request additional services or equipment for my campervan rental?

A: Yes, we offer various extras such as airport transfers, tents, sleeping bags, dog cleaning, child car seats, bedding, and more for an additional charge.

Q: Is camping gas provided with the rental?

A: Yes, camping gas is provided free of charge. Additional bottles are available for £28 each.

Q: What are the cancellation charges if I need to cancel my reservation?

A: Cancellation charges vary depending on the timing of the cancellation. Full details can be found in our terms and conditions.
